City’s Coastal Conservation Team braves the Bantry Bay caves clean up 13 March 2025 The City’s Coastal Conservation team completed a major clean-up of the Bantry Bay Caves area this week. The team managed to fill over 950 waste bags. The City’s Coastal Conservation team started with a major clean-up of the Bantry Bay Caves area on Monday, 10 March 2025 and have filled over 950 waste bags so far. These brave individuals have gone the extra mile, and took up this physically challenging clean-up project at what some would consider a very daunting location and completed the last section yesterday, 12 March 2025. Waste bags for this clean-up initiative were provided by the City’s Solid Waste Management Department.
